We are looking for a Finance Analyst to assist in the accounting and finance needs of the atWork Australia division of MedHealth. This role will suit someone who has previous experience in FP&A and has demonstrated experience in month-end processes, P&L statement management and other ad-hoc financial responsibilities across a large organisation (1000+).
Role
Reporting directly to the Finance and Business Analyst, you will form part of a team that is responsible for month-end, P&L creation/review, data validation.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Work with key stakeholders to develop collaborative working relationship that will assist to achieve the commercial KPI’s of the division.
- Provide commercial and finance training to Key Stakeholders as required.
- Work with Finance team members to ensure the accurate and timely recording of transactions in line with Group policy and Australian Accounting Standards.
- Providing of and review of P&Ls at months end.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts in line with Group timetable.
- Respond to queries in timely manner according to requirements.
- Foster a team environment that always maintains an internal customer focus and a commitment to deliver service excellence.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Actively identify and contribute to opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Additional hours as required by the business.
An ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Accounting (Finance/Commerce)
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience
- Experience in Employment Services highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence
- A curious, proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working within a large compliance driven and geographically dispersed workforce is desirable
