About the role
MYOB is redefining Order to Cash on Workday. As our Senior Workday Integration Developer, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of the integration landscape, where you will be crafting, delivering, and running secure, high-performing integrations across Workday Financials and connected platforms.
You’ll drive continuous improvement, set high standards for data quality and governance, and partner closely with platform teams and functional experts to deliver scalable, reliable systems. —while mentoring others and contributing to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in integration development, and passionate about Workday integrations across HCM, Payroll, Time/Absence, and Talent.
- Hands-on proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface)/DT (Data Transport), RaaS, Calculated Fields, Report Writer, BIRT development and Workday business process awareness.
- Solid experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST, SOAP, and OAuth 2.0. Scripting in Java/Kotlin/Groovy/Python is advantageous.
- Familiarity with API-led connectivity and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of HR/Payroll/Finance data models and downstream integrations (e.g., payroll engines, ATS, identity/IAM including SCIM/HRIS feeds, finance/ERP).
- Practical knowledge of the Workday security model (domain policies, role-based access) and secure handling of PII, auditability, and segregation of duties.
- Proficiency with source control (Git) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins), environment promotion and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and logging (e.g., Wrkday Integration Dashboard, Splunk/Datadog) and supporting production incidents with strong problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Continuous Delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaborator engagement.
- Workday Integration certification(s) highly desirable; Workday Studio certification preferred
