We are seeking a dedicated Careers & Employability Advisor with a passion for delivering outstanding student learning experiences and a strong track record of delivering impact in a higher education setting to work alongside our national team of career development superstars. As someone who thrives on building working relationships with key stakeholders across professional and academic teams, you will:
- Provide comprehensive career guidance and support to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Facilitate one-on-one career planning sessions for learners at various stages of the student journey
- Develop and deliver career development learning resources and experiences at scale
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate career-related events and networking opportunities
- Stay updated with job market trends, industry requirements, and employment opportunities
- A tertiary qualification in career education or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience in a higher education context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding student and/or client experiences in a career development and/or planning context
- Knowledge of career development theories and practices with an awareness of and ability to support (1) immediate graduate outcomes, (2) professional readiness, and (3) employability literacies for life
- Experience delivering workshops and presentations (including in-person, online and hybrid events)
- Familiarity with working and collaborating across teams in a hybrid working environment
