This internship offers a learning opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in Power BI and data analytics. The intern will support the team with basic data preparation, quality checks, and reporting tasks, while contributing to a dashboard project for the Specialty Nutrition Business under Aboitiz Foods.
Key Activities
- Learn how to build, update, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data.
- Help perform simple data quality checks (e.g., missing values, duplicates) and document findings.
- Work closely with team members, participate in meetings, and apply feedback to tasks.
- Gain exposure to data tools and develop new skills with mentor support.
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, or SQL).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Basic understanding of statistics and probability.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools or concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willing to work onsite or hybrid
- Required hours: 360 or up
Onboarding Requirements:
- Officially enrolled in a university
- At least on its penultimate year
- Enrolled in an internship subject
- With good scholastic records duly endorsed by the school
- Able to pass the pre-internship requirements
