PlayPlay is building several new AI-first products in the content creation space.
As a Product Designer, you’ll shape the experience of one of this strategic product, working closely with our Founder/CEO and CPTO to bring generative AI into our users’ daily workflows. You’ll be part of a centralized Design team, partnering with Product Managers and Tech Leads, and collaborating with Frontend/Backend Engineers.
MISSIONS 💪
- Deeply understand our users, their workflows and AI capabilities through continuous research and turn insights into solid product opportunities that drive the business.
- Design end-to-end product experiences (user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, pixel-perfect UI) from problem framing and exploration to ready-for-dev design and post-launch impact analysis.
- Leverage and evolve our Design System to keep the product cohesive and capitalize on design decisions while enabling the team to ship faster.
- Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to shape roadmaps, manage trade-offs, and ensure a high-quality experience.
- Design with and around AI: use latest AI technologies to accelerate your design workflow. Shape latest AI models into user-friendly products.
REQUIREMENTS 🎯
- 4+ years of experience practicing Product Design as your primary craft in product-led environments.
- A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product work: from framing the problem and research to shipped UX/UI and impact on metrics.
- Fluency in modern prototyping tools to communicate your ideas efficiently (we use Figma Design and Figma Make).
- Fluency in French and in English (spoken + written).
- Curiosity about generative AI products
ABOUT YOU ❤️
- Great communication skills: ability to pitch design decisions and explain tradeoffs
- Appetite for systems thinking: We care deeply about UI quality, but we see it as the visible part of a well-structured underlying UX. We pay particular attention to the structural layer of UX (inspired by Garrett’s “Elements of User Experience”) and use the Object-Oriented UX framework. You don’t need to know these frameworks in detail to postulate though.
- Desire to work in an AI-first organization, where we use automation to gain efficiency and scale. Our goal is to design better products, faster, by thoughtfully using AI where it truly helps.
- Experience designing for generative AI products (text-to-image, video, audio…): from prototyping AI behaviors to thinking about UX for uncertainty, explainability, feedback loops, and guardrails.
- Resilience: Ability to navigate ambiguity, iterations and shifting priorities; Autonomy, rigor, strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of psycho-cognitive models/theories and how they can inform UX is a plus.
- Exposure to agile / discovery practices (Continuous Discovery Habits, Shape Up, Discovery Discipline) is a plus.
- Awareness of accessibility standards and how to apply them in practice is a plus.
