Position: Automation Engineer (WDIO)
Overview: We are on the lookout for a talented Automation Engineer with expertise in WebdriverIO (WDIO) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO to enhance test coverage for our applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to gather requirements and understand application functionalities for precise testing.
- Design and execute thorough test cases encompassing functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through a defect management system.
- Document automation procedures, test cases, and results to ensure clear communication and process sustainability.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to testing strategies, and empower the team with best automation practices.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- 4-7years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on WebdriverIO (WDIO).
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript programming.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
