Position: Performance Testing Engineer

You will be responsible for designing and executing a detailed performance testing strategy to identify and solve performance issues before they impact users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain performance testing plans and test cases to assess the performance of applications under various load conditions.
- Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate user activity and evaluate application responsiveness.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to the development team for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and identify performance requirements.
- Create detailed documentation and reports on testing outcomes, including performance metrics and recommendations.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning efforts for application infrastructures.
- Monitor applications in production to ensure they meet performance standards and respond to alerts proactively.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in Performance Testing with a focus on load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Proficient in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of web applications, APIs, and underlying architectures.
- Ability to write and execute scripts in languages like Java, Python, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
