We are hiring an Account Manager to manage and grow our IT recruitment accounts in Australia.
This role is for someone with a mindset to win — a person who takes ownership, thinks creatively, builds strong personal relationships with clients, and consistently drives results.
You will work closely with our recruitment team to deliver fast, high-quality hiring outcomes, while ensuring clients receive strong value and ROI for their recruitment agency spend.
Key Responsibilities
1) Client Relationship Management (Australia & Europe)
- Manage day-to-day relationships with Hiring Managers, HR, Talent Acquisition and Procurement
- Build strong personal rapport and long-term trust with key stakeholders
- Understand client priorities, team structures, and hiring pain points
- Represent Zone IT Solutions professionally across international markets
2) Drive Recruitment Outcomes & Delivery Results
- Own hiring outcomes across assigned accounts (contract & permanent roles)
- Drive job intake, submissions, interview scheduling, feedback, offers and closures
- Ensure speed, urgency, and accountability across the recruitment cycle
- Proactively remove blockers and improve turnaround times
3) Bring Value to Every Client Engagement
- Share market insights (talent availability, rate trends, skill demand, hiring challenges)
- Improve quality of submissions through strong role briefings and screening alignment
- Build feedback loops to reduce delays and increase conversion rates
- Ensure clients consistently experience strong value from their agency engagement
4) Out-of-the-Box Thinking & Account Growth
- Bring fresh ideas to improve delivery performance and client experience
- Identify opportunities to expand Zone’s footprint within accounts (new teams, new regions, new projects)
- Support client retention through proactive engagement and consistent delivery
- Think commercially and contribute to revenue growth and account profitability
5) Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with recruiters to prioritise roles and drive execution
- Maintain clean and accurate activity tracking in CRM/ATS
- Provide weekly updates on pipelines, roles, challenges and outcomes
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal delivery teams
