Job Overview
The Senior People Systems & Process Analyst designs, governs, and continuously improves scalable people-system architecture that enables efficient operations, accurate workforce planning, and data-driven decision-making. Acting as the senior functional analyst and architect for UKG Ready, this role ensures people processes, system configurations, and data structures are intentionally designed to support growth, governance, and insight—shifting the People function from reactive maintenance to proactive, strategic enablement.
This role exists to embed workforce structure, position management, automation, and analytics into daily operations in a sustainable, scalable way, while providing senior-level analytical guidance to People, Finance, and Operations leaders.

What You Do
Support Design & Optimization of People Systems Architecture (UKG Ready) and Intelligent Automation of HR Ecosystem
Serve as the senior functional analyst and architect for UKG Ready, owning end-to-end system design, configuration strategy, and architectural integrity.
Redesign and optimize people processes across the full employee lifecycle, translating business needs into scalable, system-enabled solutions.
Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, technical debt, and manual workarounds through thoughtful system design and automation.
Ensure system architecture supports scalability, compliance, and clean, reliable, analytics-ready data.
Own people systems initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
Manage timelines, priorities, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams.
Document system architecture, workflows, standards, and design decisions to enable consistency, governance, and long-term sustainability.
Build Position Management & Workforce Structure
Design and govern position management architecture, including job structures, headcount controls, approvals, and data integrity
Partner with HR and Finance to align positions with budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning
Ensure accurate alignment between positions, people, and cost structures
Build system-enabled controls that support disciplined growth and informed decision-making
Deliver Analytics & Decision Support
Design, build, and maintain people analytics dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into workforce health, performance, and trends.
Develop and standardize core people metrics (e.g., headcount movement, turnover, time-to-fill, internal mobility, span of control, system adoption, data quality).
Translate people and system data into clear, actionable insights that enable leaders to make informed, evidence-based decisions.
Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure people metrics align to business priorities and operating rhythms.
Continuously improve data definitions, reporting accuracy, and data governance to ensure trusted, decision-ready analytics tied directly to business outcomes.
What You Bring
Required
4+ years of experience in People Systems, HRIS, Business Systems, or Process Architecture roles
Proven experience designing and optimizing people processes and system architecture
Hands-on experience with system configuration, workflows, and reporting
Advanced analytical skills with a Excel and Power BI (preferred)
Demonstrated ability to own and execute programs end-to-end
Preferred
Experience with position management, workforce planning, or headcount governance
Hands-on experience with UKG Ready
Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and IT
