Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As an Administrative Assistant, Distribution and Transportation within our Supply Chain organization is responsible for supporting operational efficiency through a combination of administrative and logistical tasks. This will include calendar and expense management, purchase order coordination, office administration, invoice processing, and meeting support.
This role is based out of our New Westminster, BC office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Warehousing & Logistics Team is a vitally important link between the many global components of the Arc’teryx business and our internal stakeholders. Our team is a key contributor in making Arc’teryx successful, and we take pride in the magnitude of the impact we have despite our small team size. We operate behind the scenes, and the work we do creates the foundation for the business to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will also need to work closely with other departments such as Warehouse Operations and Merchandising Planning and Allocations team.
If you were in the Administrative Assistant, Distribution and Transportation role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting with administrative tasks to support the Distribution and Transportation team
- Organizing and submitting expense reports in a timely manner
- Preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and presentation materials
- Administering the Distribution and Transportation Leadership team calendar
- Acting as point of contact for internal customers for specific Distribution and Transportation team general queries and updates
- Coordinating purchase orders (POs) in SAP Ariba, coding vendor invoices and routing to the right leader in the system according to workflow requirements
- Monitoring order statuses and flagging delays or issues for follow up
- Identifying and suggesting improvements to purchase order processes to enhance efficiency and support internal and external customer needs.
- Supporting project coordination by tracking progress and ensuring alignment with defined scope and objectives; escalating where needed
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain
- Supporting activations and events within the Distribution and Logistics teams and across the ARC’One community

Are you our next Administrative Assistant, Distribution and Transportation?
- You have 2+ years of experience in an administrative position with interest in Distribution and Transportation or overall Supply Chain
- You are highly organized with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage and maintain high volume of data
- You’re not afraid of meeting new people, building relationships and creating partnerships across the organization
- You have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively to internal customers as well as with vendors
- You are self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Power Point
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
