We are looking for an exceptional lawyer to take on this exciting role and join our fast-growing team as Senior Counsel, Regulatory (US). You will be working on ground-breaking, novel regulatory matters in the crypto space, including pioneering new crypto licensing regimes, working closely with Blockchain.com’s Policy Team on crypto policy development, and helping shape the regulatory environment in the US. You will have responsibility for regulatory matters as they pertain to the US business, which covers both institutional and consumer business lines, as well as our DeFi products. You will work with that business to address challenging legal and regulatory matters along our continued journey of growth.
Practically speaking, this includes the provision of legal and regulatory support on a variety of matters spanning entity licensing and registration, product distribution, service provider relationships, and more across consumer and institutional client segments. Because the European Union Commission has determined that United States data privacy laws do not ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data collected from EU data subjects, the transfer will be subject to appropriate additional safeguards under the standard contractual clauses.
