Accounting Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist with Convera based in our Vilnius office, you will perform daily tasks according to pre-established guidelines to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions. This is a hybrid work model (onsite 2-3 times per week), working hours Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

Please note: For this position, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Lithuania and be able to start and maintain employment without visa support from Convera.

You will be responsible for:

• Performing general ledger entries (reclasses, accruals).
• Calculating agent commissions and invoicing.
• Analyzing accounts and specialized reports, investigating discrepancies and providing decision-making insights.
• Participating in process improvement projects and ensuring effective accounting operations and compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
• Unclaimed property accounting.
• Audit preparations.

You should apply if you have:

• Analytical skills.
• Good spoken and written English abilities.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Familiarity with the accounting standards and a degree in Business Management/ Finance / Accounting or a related.
• You must also be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and have a good level of English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others.
