About the role  

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Wealth Risk Team. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

• Assist with FLOD “First Line of Defense” for Risk Management monitoring and conducting control assurance testing ensuring adherence to group policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop / contribute to annual assurance planning and meeting deliverables.
• Liaise with 2LOD “Second Line of Defense” and 3LOD “Third Line of Defense” stakeholders and maintain effective strong relationships within.
• Assist with delivery of first line training and implementing new training across the Risk and Assurance area ensuring collaborative cross-training and high continuous growth standard to effecting change for the business and people.
• Assist with assurance remediation actions recommended ensuring they are delivered to successful closure.
• Assist with RCSA “Risk Control Self-Assessment” process ensuring new and existing risk and controls are captured and accurate.
• Perform Assurance monitoring and assessments across Davy.
• Collate and review large amounts of data to identify trends and findings.
• Present reports and report findings arising from assurance activities to a wide variety of audiences.
• Update data to create and present assurance risk reports on a monthly basis.
• Work with stakeholders to identify resolutions to complex issues across Davy and provide oversight of resolutions.
• Regularly present to senior stakeholders and demonstrate strong leadership.

Requirements

About you   

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong interest in the topic of wealth management and risk management.
• Strong Interpersonal, Organizational and Time Management including stakeholder management, confident presentation skills, solutions-oriented with a strong desire to work in a team environment.
• Professional experienced in Risk & Assurance; experience in project management would be beneficial.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Service or Wealth Management with strong working knowledge of MiFID 2.
• Strong background on business improvements and implementation of new ideas and initiatives to support business operations.
