About the role
Fenergo is scaling rapidly, and we are investing in a best-in-class HR technology ecosystem to support our people strategy. We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to take ownership of embedding our core HR systems, ensuring they are fully implemented, integrated, and optimised for scale.
This role will be hands-on and delivery-focused, partnering closely with HR, People Ops, IT, Finance, and external vendors. The immediate priorities are getting Rippling fully implemented and embedded, completing the Workable configuration, and organising the roadmap and integrations for Cornerstone and Peoplebox.
Please note that this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Implementation & Optimisation
- Lead the final implementation and full embed of Rippling across Fenergo, ensuring data integrity, automation, and user adoption.
- Act as the system owner for Rippling, including configuration, workflows, permissions, reporting, and ongoing optimisation.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure Rippling supports global HR processes (onboarding, employee lifecycle, payroll inputs, compliance, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement across HR systems, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, increase automation, and eliminate inefficiencies.
ATS & Talent Systems
- Complete and optimise the Workable setup as agreed, ensuring it is fully aligned with hiring workflows, approvals, reporting, and integrations.
- Own Workable administration, user support, and continuous improvement.
HR Tech Ecosystem & Integration
- Design and organise the integration of Cornerstone (learning/performance) and Peoplebox (OKRs/performance) into the wider HRIS ecosystem.
- Work with vendors, IT, and internal stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, data flows, and integration points.
- Ensure systems work together seamlessly, with minimal duplication and strong data governance.
Data, Reporting & Governance
- Maintain accurate, secure, and compliant people data across all systems.
- Build and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
- Establish clear HRIS documentation, processes, and controls.
Stakeholder Support & Enablement
- Serve as the primary HRIS subject matter expert for HR and the wider business.
- Train and support HR team members, managers, and employees on system usage.
- Troubleshoot system issues and act as liaison with vendors for resolution.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as an HRIS Specialist / HR Systems Analyst / People Systems Lead.
- Hands-on experience implementing and administering HRIS platforms (Rippling experience strongly preferred).
- Experience working with ATS platforms (Workable highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience managing system integrations and working with multiple vendors.
- High attention to detail and strong data management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
Desirable
- Experience with Cornerstone, Peoplebox, or similar performance/learning platforms.
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling organisation.
- Basic technical understanding of APIs, data mapping, or system integrations
