Something as simple as running ads to get more users is simple for an e-commerce of software company to do. But common web analytics and advertising tools collect sensitive user identifiers and healthcare information automatically. Those same tools are not HIPAA compliant.
We provide a layer of data governance to make current web analytics tools HIPAA-compliant. For analytics, our customers can continue getting the insights they need to improve the patient experience. For marketing, Freshpaint safeguards health information while helping our customers promote access to care through popular advertising platforms like Facebook, Google, and others.
In short, we help healthcare marketers promote access to care and safeguard patient privacy at the same time. This is an important, complex problem in a massive market (healthcare is 20% of the US GDP).

We’re fully remote. If you strongly value in-person work, Freshpaint is likely not the best fit for you. Even though we don’t care where you’re located, we only hire within the US. Many of our team is concentrated in various metro areas like SF or NYC. To balance out our remote-ness, we gather the team 2x times per year for offsites. Freshpaint was founded by web analytics veterans who realized how hard it was for highly regulated companies to collect and use customer data in a compliant way. Freshpaint 3.0 is transforming how healthcare marketers drive results. Your mission is to build the "Spider Web" of bottom-of-funnel integrations—connecting diverse revenue events (appointments, fulfillment, billing, and clinical outcomes) into the Freshpaint data platform. You will ensure these complex data sources are unified with leverage and architectural elegance, providing the fuel that helps our other teams drive ROAS for our customers.
What You’ll Do:
• Scale the "Spider Web": Architect and maintain a growing ecosystem of integrations with EHRs (e.g., Epic), booking platforms (e.g., Solv), and billing systems, as well as identify and explore new potential dat source integrations that will fuel the Freshpaint advertising and marketi performance engine.
• Platform Orchestration: Ensure that as our BoF network expands, we manage reconciliation and alignment through scalable platform logic rather than brute-force manual labor.
• Cross-Team Synergy: Partner with the Identity Team to resolve user journeys, the Ad Platform Team to align top-of-funnel signals, and the Insights Team to power the recommendations that drive ROI.
• AI-Native Execution: Leverage AI tooling as a core part of your daily workflow to increase productivity, accelerate documentation, and automate complex data mapping challenges.
Who You Are:
• Integrations Architect: You have a platform-oriented view and experience managing complex, disparate data sources at scale.
• Outcomes Driven: You think in terms of outcomes and know how to drive toward them, both for your business as well as your customers'.
• AI-Native: You are an early adopter of AI tooling (LLMs, coding assistants, data agents) and use them to multiply your output and efficiency.
• Collaborative Strategist: You understand that your success depends on how well your data fuels the specialized engines built by your peer product teams.
Why you shouldn't apply:
You Prefer Fully Defined Roadmaps- This isn’t a “feature factory” role , it’s about defining what should exist, not executing a pre-written plan. If you need complete clarity before starting, this might feel uncomfortable.
You Don’t Like Ambiguity or Change- You'll be working on a new product. Customer feedback will reshape our direction, and you’ll need to adjust quickly. If you prefer a steady, predictable product line, this might not be the right fit.
