We’re looking for an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) Specialist to help shape how our brands and clients show up across modern answer-driven search experiences. This role focuses on optimizing content and data for AI-powered search, answer engines, and zero-click environments, including large language models, featured snippets, and conversational search surfaces.
This is not a traditional SEO-only role. It sits at the intersection of search, content, and AI behavior. You will work alongside SEO, content, and growth teams to ensure our content is structured, trustworthy, and discoverable in systems where users ask questions and expect direct answers.

What You’ll Work On
Answer Engine Optimization Strategy
- Develop and execute AEO strategies for AI-driven and answer-first search environments
- Optimize content for visibility in LLM-powered tools, featured answers, and zero-click results
- Identify how queries are interpreted by AI systems and adjust content accordingly
Content Structuring and Optimization
- Rewrite and structure content to improve clarity, factual accuracy, and answerability
- Optimize headings, summaries, FAQs, and schema for answer extraction
- Partner with writers and editors to improve content usefulness and trust signals
Search and AI Research
- Research how AI models surface, summarize, and cite content
- Track emerging trends across AI search, conversational interfaces, and search engine updates
- Test prompts, queries, and content formats to understand ranking and citation behavior
Schema, Entities, and Authority Signals
- Support implementation of structured data to improve machine readability
- Strengthen topical authority and entity relationships across content libraries
- Collaborate with SEO and technical teams to ensure clean, crawlable foundations
Measurement and Experimentation
- Define success metrics for AEO visibility and performance
- Track citations, mentions, featured placements, and answer inclusion
- Document findings and turn experiments into repeatable best practices
What You Bring
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or search-focused growth roles
- Strong understanding of how search engines and AI systems consume and rank content
- Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to test, measure, and iterate
- Comfort working in fast-changing, experimental environments
Nice to Have
- Experience working with structured data or schema markup
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt testing, or AI content evaluation
- Background in editorial SEO, content audits, or knowledge-base optimization
- Comfort using AI tools to analyze search behavior or content gaps
