In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and manage the IT security program, safeguarding critical systems and data against emerging threats. Your strategic approach will not only enhance security measures but also comply with essential privacy regulations. As part of a dedicated team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of security architecture and ensuring operational excellence within a distributed organization. You'll take on complex challenges, collaborate with various teams, and provide clear communication regarding risks and security status, all while working remotely.
Accountabilities
- Perform internal audits and conduct vulnerability and penetration testing.
- Lead the governance of security architecture for internal IT projects.
- Utilize the Unified Architecture Framework to integrate security measures.
- Assess current security posture and design mitigation strategies.
- Manage security tools and collaborate with technical teams for integration.
- Provide leadership and accountability for resilient security practices.
- Work with IT and DevOps teams to maintain compliance with regulations.
- Communicate security risks and readiness to leadership effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- At least nine years of progressive work experience in IT.
- Minimum of three years in IT security administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, HIPAA, and CMMC frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender ATP and Cloud security tools.
- Proven ability in conducting internal security audits.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with scripting in PowerShell or Python.
