In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the development of modern cloud-based solutions that will impact the operations of federal courts across the United States. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing data governance, compliance, and analytical capabilities within a secured environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards and ensure quality throughout the data lifecycle. Accountabilities
- Develop and implement data classification standards for sensitive data.
- Facilitate workshops for defining security controls and data handling requirements.
- Align classification outputs with judiciary risk tolerance and operational needs.
- Integrate classification metadata into catalog structures based on standards.
- Design and maintain enterprise data models for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure effective ETL/ELT implementations.
- Support data quality and integrity across integrated source systems.
- Create training materials and provide support for user adoption.
Requirements
- BA/BS and 8+ years of experience in information systems or equivalent.
- Expertise in data architecture and data modeling roles.
- Proven skills in logical, physical, and dimensional data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred).
- Ability to produce structured, audit-ready data documentation.
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data modeling.
