Accountabilities
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Perform data reconciliations to ensure accuracy of revenue data.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Identify and implement improvements for revenue accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue flows.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Success in high-growth environments with multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating accounting implications.
- Effective communicator for translating technical concepts.
- Ability to build and optimize processes.
