Who we are looking for 🌟
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our data experiences and insight dashboards within the Growth unit. Your work will shape how creators understand performance, identify opportunities, and turn insights into action.
You will own the end-to-end design of our analytics surfaces across creator-facing dashboards and internal tools. You will transform complex datasets into clear, trustworthy, and actionable experiences that help creators grow faster. The ideal candidate blends strong UX craft, data visualization expertise, and a deep understanding of creator workflows.
What you'll do 🚀
Design data experiences & dashboards
- Own the full UX for analytics features, including creator dashboards, funnels, performance insights, monetization metrics.
- Design end-to-end insight journeys that reduce time-to-insight and guide users from “what happened” to “what should I do next.”
- Define interaction patterns for data-dense UI (charts, tables, filters, segments, experiments, cohorts) that support both beginner and advanced data users.
- Maintain consistency across web, mobile, internal tools, and the design system.
Drive measurable growth impact
- Translate growth problems into data-informed design solutions that improve activation, retention, monetization, and creator success.
- Partner with product and data science to define key metrics, shape hypotheses, and design experiments (A/B tests, holdouts) that validate improvements.
- Create opinionated, value-focused data narratives that help creators understand ROI of automation, monetization upgrades, and new features.
- Ensure dashboards contribute directly to conversion rates, plan comprehension, and user confidence.
Build data literacy into the product
- Design interfaces that help users understand the meaning behind the metrics: clear labeling, metric definitions, and plain-language summaries.
- Support creators with varying levels of data literacy with accessible, guided data experiences.
- Partner with content design and data teams to develop a unified metric glossary and naming system across the product.
Enable cross-functional alignment & execution
- Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, analysts, engineering, and GTM teams.
- Lead discovery processes for data problems: framing questions, identifying required data, validating trade-offs, and shaping product scope.
- Use prototypes, storytelling, and data scenarios to align stakeholders around insights, opportunities, and impact.
- Document decisions, patterns, and guidelines to ensure scalable execution across teams.
What success looks like 🎯
Leadership & team orientation
- You operate autonomously, own complex problem areas, and raise the bar for analytics UX quality.
- Teams rely on you as the bridge between product, data, and design — especially when decisions require clarity from messy data.
- You mentor designers and contribute to team-wide craft standards around systems thinking and information design.
Discovery & research
- You ground every solution in user jobs, data analysis, and real usage patterns.
- You identify insight gaps, conversion barriers, and opportunities by combining qualitative research with quantitative metrics.
- You define and track UX success metrics such as time-to-insight, dashboard repeat usage, decision clarity, and experiment win rates.
Advance analytics design standards
- You deliver scalable patterns for analytics surfaces across the experience and ensure high design-to-code parity.
- Your dashboards are resilient to real-world data conditions like sparse data, large datasets, anomalies or errors.
- You ensure loading, error, and empty states are treated as part of the core user experience.
What you'll bring 💥
- 5+ years of product design experience, with significant work on data-rich products, analytics tools, dashboards, reporting interfaces, or internal data systems.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex data experiences and how your work drove business or user impact.
- Mastery of information design, complex interaction patterns, data visualization principles, and designing for data literacy.
- High data fluency and comfort collaborating with data analysts and data science teams.
- Experience designing experiments, interpreting results, and making iterative improvements to analytics experiences.
- Strong systems thinking with experience contributing to or evolving design systems.
- Advanced skills in Figma, rapid prototyping, and working with realistic data in prototypes.
- Experience mentoring designers or contributing to craft leadership.
- Nice to have: background in creator tools, growth analytics, BI tools, experimentation platforms, or embedded analytics; familiarity with AI-generated insights or anomaly detection patterns.
