Your Responsibilities:
- Support the refinement, adoption and implementation of IT Strategy across the organization;
- Derive and maintain a multi-year digital roadmap to transform organization and IT delivery;
- Lead or oversee a portion of the strategic roadmap / portfolio and drive target-state completion;
- Steer a portfolio of complex, cross-platform projects, ensuring in-time, in-scope and in budget completion across all initiatives;
- Serve as Program Manager for key initiatives;
- Establish and drive governance structures to ensure successful delivery (e.g. Steering Committees);
- Ensure interdependencies, risks, and resources are managed holistically;
- Whenever needed – ensure rapid turnaround of strategic initiatives;
- Ensure successful adoption of change management practices for your projects incl. internal communication across METRO;
- Ensure business case validity, tracking and delivery of expected outcomes;
- Track and report transformation KPIs and strategic milestones to senior leadership;
- Work closely with CIO Office incl. flexibility for ad-hoc work related to CIO priorities;
- Align with C-level stakeholders on roadmap execution.
Required key competencies and qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in the technology sector, management title preferred;
- Strategic mindset and strong motivation to drive organizational, process and technology change;
- Strong background in delivering complex, high-impact projects and programs;
- Ideally background in management or technology consulting;
- Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills (C-level exposure preferred);
- Strong analytical capabilities, background in business case management and performance tracking;
- Confidence in managing cross-functional program teams (without direct reporting authority);
- Good practical understanding of change-management methods;
- Highly-structured ways of working and hands-on attitude;
- Proficient use of digital tools (esp. PowerPoint);
- Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
