The Opportunity
As the Head of Engineering in the Customer Group at MYOB, you will own the engineering engine behind one of our most exciting and transformational areas.
The successful candidate will join MYOB as a critical enabler in realising and driving the tech strategy within the SME Customer space, evolving our technology landscape and practices, while driving large scale transformation in a product-led organisation.
As part of MYOB's Technology Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and crafting the business product by creating and empowering agile teams, being responsible for the technology direction for the product.
You will be responsible for implementing modern architecture and engineering practices that deliver outstanding value to our customers, aligning with business objectives to deliver a high-performing and scalable SaaS solution.
About you
- Strong engineering or architectural background with experience guiding technical leaders and collaborating across product and design.
- Track record of leading technology leaders through complexity, ambiguity and transformation, with the resilience and judgment that only experience brings
- Demonstrated leadership in driving, enhancing and scaling operating models for large tech functions
- Proven success delivering major technology initiatives, crafting scalable cloud-based systems (Azure), and supporting customer-facing products.
- Demonstrated ability to establish agile practices and champion engineering culture in new teams.
- Skilled in building trust and influence across teams, executives, and suppliers.
- Strong leadership in mentoring, critical thinking, facilitation, and organisational change aligned with MYOB values.
