The role will support the APAC Franchise Strategy and Brand Marketing Function across the core responsibilities
- Regional APAC Universal Franchise Strategy execution
- Regional APAC Universal Theatrical Brand Marketing
- Regional APAC Symphony
- Universal APAC Parks Brand Marketing
Your responsibilities may span the following areas:
Theatrical Brand Marketing/Parks
- Support the Parks initiatives at Universal Studios Singapore ('USS') and Universal Studios Japan ('USJ').
- Help with the Approval process of various initiatives at the parks – marketing, entertainment, social/digital campaigns.
- Help plan and execute the annual parks presentation at USS and USJ.
- Support in preparing movie slate presentations for Television Distribution and Theatrical partners in the region
- Support local theatrical teams on promotional partnerships.
- Manage distribution of sales materials, sell sheets, newsletters to the local Consumer Product teams.
Franchise Strategy
- Assist Regional/local franchise leads on execution of local initiatives, including approval process.
- Support execution of Global Franchise initiatives and other key franchise properties in the region.
- Update Regional social/content calendar working with the global team.
- Assist in live events/digital amplification/gaming needs for the region.
Symphony
- Support Symphony projects in the APAC region for key titles.
- Work closely with Theatrical, Parks, Consumer Products, Television Distribution group on executing key symphony initiatives.
- Work closely with local theatrical teams on symphony initiatives for key titles.
Admin
- Setting up meetings, sending out agendas and minutes
- Reservations/settling logistics for local/overseas meetings/presentations
- Updating team SharePoint with all assets/information
- Assisting with asset sharing to teams/partners
Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from June 2026 to January 2027 for undergraduate students.
Basic Requirements:
- Seeking experience in Media/Entertainment Industry.
- Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
- Keen eye for detail, consolidation and organization.
- Interest in Consumer Insights, Marketing, Events, International market dynamics.
Desired Characteristics:
- Past exposure to the evolving digital/social environment.
- Knowledge of global/local digital platforms/gaming targeting kids and young adults.
