This project has the potential to expand into books, courses, and eventually a film/TV adaptation. The series aims to create an immersive and emotionally charged narrative universe that leaves a lasting impact on its audience. The Audio Storytelling Producer will craft immersive, emotionally compelling audio experiences for a groundbreaking cinematic storytelling podcast. This role requires blending the emotional intuition of a sound designer, the cinematic sensibility of a narrative editor, and the pacing instincts of a storyteller. The successful candidate will transform raw narration into gripping audio narratives, producing full podcast episodes, trailers, teasers, and short-form content designed for social media platforms. The producer’s work will serve as the creative backbone for a storytelling brand poised for massive expansion.
Transform raw narration into cinematic, emotionally immersive audio experiences.
Layer atmospheric soundscapes, sound effects, and music to amplify emotional arcs.
Build tension, release, pacing, and emotional beats through sound.
Mix and master episodes for premium listening on platforms like Apple and Spotify.
Maintain a consistent audio identity across episodes and seasons.
Identify the most emotionally powerful audio moments for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
Create clean audio stems and cinematic sound beds for content creators.
Shape emotional rhythm (silence, breath, beats, tension) to engage listeners.
Ensure each short-form clip has a strong hook within the first 1-2 seconds.
Collaborate directly with the Host to bring key scenes to life, including emotionally charged moments (e.g., weddings, betrayals, panic attacks, interventions).
Suggest pacing shifts, tension builds, and emotional pauses to enhance the story’s impact.
Contribute to creative decisions for trailers, promos, and special launch moments.
Deliver 1-2 mixed and mastered cinematic podcast episodes weekly (beginning in early 2026).
Provide audio stems for 20-30 short-form clips weekly.
Collaborate with the sound editor for audio cleanup and dialogue editing.
Maintain consistent emotional tone, clarity, vibrancy, and pacing.
Troubleshoot audio issues before release to ensure quality.
3-7+ years in sound design, film audio, or narrative podcast production.
Experience designing cinematic soundscapes (beyond clean audio).
Strong understanding of pacing, silence, tension, and emotional timing in audio storytelling.
Hollywood producer experience or similar background in audio production
Experience in narrative audio storytelling (podcasts, film sound, documentaries, immersive audio projects).
Familiarity with short-form emotional pacing for social media audio clips.
Ability to think cinematically through sound to enhance narrative immersion.
Ability to work with both serious content and humor.
Expert-level mixing and mastering.
Sound design and SFX layering for emotional impact.
Strong instincts for music selection and scoring.
Ability to create cinematic atmospheres through sound.
Proficiency in emotional timing and pacing through sound design.
Strong understanding of emotional arcs and character beats.
Ability to create cliffhangers and build tension.
Skilled at turning lived experiences into compelling, immersive narratives.
Instinct for deepening emotional tension and releasing it at the right moment.
