Owns the ingestion, transformation, modeling, and operational readiness of all data supporting RAG, embeddings, agent workflows, and the Memory/State layer.
Key Responsibilities
- Build ETL using Glue Spark, Glue Python Jobs, Glue Workflows.
- Manage Glue Data Catalog and enforce Lake Formation permissions.
- Design Bronze/Silver/Gold data modeling and schema evolution.
- Implement DMS ingestion and MSK/Kinesis streaming.
- Prepare data for embeddings including cleansing, parsing, metadata enrichment.
- Build data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Deequ).
Education
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar
Skills Required
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS ETL engineering, streaming ingestion, and building data pipelines for text-heavy workloads.
- Deep AWS ETL expertise.
- Strong schema management.
- Experience with text-heavy pipelines.
- Proven ability building governed Lakehouse systems
