Founding Engineer

Salary range: $150k - $180k

We’re building AI agents for consumer lending, starting with the mortgage industry. 🏡 Our technology helps some of America’s largest mortgage lenders scale their contact center and compliance operations using AI-driven voice agents.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Architect and develop scalable backend services for AI-powered lending workflows
• Design & implement APIs for integration with loan platforms, payment systems, and compliance tools
• Optimize for real-time AI interactions with sub-700ms latency
• Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes for high availability
• Develop event-driven architectures using Python AsyncIO for real-time automation
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle—from design to deployment and monitoring

✅ Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of backend experience in fast-paced engineering environments
• Proficiency in Python, especially AsyncIO, FastAPI, or Django
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational/NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for performance optimization

• Previous startup experience with a hands-on, “get-it-done” mindset
