Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Core Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs, integrations, and data-driven platforms.
- Write clean, modular, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
AI-Driven Development
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf) for code generation, refactoring, documentation, testing, and debugging.
- Share feedback and contribute to improving developer productivity through AI-enabled workflows.
Performance & Reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system stability.
- Optimize API and backend service performance for scale and reliability.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
- Proficiency with Git and unit testing frameworks.
- Experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-evolving tech environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to data engineering tools and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor or Windsurf.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
