About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who has transitioned into FP&A and enjoys working hands-on with financial data, forecasting, and cross-functional stakeholders. The analyst will play a key role in improving financial visibility, supporting decision-making, and helping scale the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends, providing clear insights and recommendations
- Support cash flow forecasting, including tracking purchases and updating assumptions regularly
- Partner with accounting to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts
- Review financial data with a strong attention to detail, leveraging prior auditing and accounting experience
- Assist with month-end and quarterly financial reviews
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with accuracy
- Contribute to the development of processes, tools, and reporting to support a growing finance team
- Over time, help support and mentor junior team members as the team expands
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of overall professional experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial statements
- Proven experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and financial analysis
- Experience with accounting/financial systems such as QuickBooks and Xero, NetSuite and Intacct would be a plus
- Background in auditing is a strong plus
- Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with large data sets
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Clear communicator with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
