- Provide guidance on capitalized development costs, payroll-related accounting (FICA, benefits, 401(k) true-ups), and other adjacent accounting areas.
- Systems, Automation & Process Improvement
- Serve as a functional owner and advanced user of cloud-based financial systems, with deep expertise in Sage Intacct, including foreign entity structures and consolidations.
- Assist in supporting and optimizing finance technology platforms integrations, including expense management and banking tools/applications
- Partner on systems integration and optimization across Sage Intacct, Planful, and other tools, with a focus on reducing manual processes and spreadsheet dependency.
- Lead the development and documentation of SOPs, policies, and scalable workflows.
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash forecasting, working capital management, and banking relationships (U.S. and Canada).
- Provide visibility and insight into cash forecasting to support growth and investment decisions.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a growing accounting team
- Actively identify opportunities to elevate team capabilities, delegate effectively, and build overall team capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture aligned with the firm’s values.
- Strategic Partnership & Executive Presence
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, challenging assumptions and proactively surfacing risks and opportunities.
- Partner with leadership on decisions related to controls, investments, systems, and scaling the finance function.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Deep technical accounting expertise with strong GAAP knowledge.
- Experience in professional services and/or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executive leadership and present complex topics clearly.

- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems, Sage Intacct required
- Experience in a private equity–backed organization is a plus.
