In this role, you will be pivotal in building and leading the global tax function as the company prepares for public readiness. You will manage tax compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with Finance, Legal, and external advisors. Your contributions will ensure that the company's tax processes are robust and scalable, supporting the international footprint and future IPO preparations. Accountabilities
- Manage global income tax compliance, including U.S. federal, state, and international filings.
- Lead the quarterly and annual income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740.
- Develop and maintain tax policies and documentation to support public-company requirements.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting on forecasting and budgeting of tax expenses.
- Oversee indirect tax compliance and registrations globally.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
- Advise on tax implications of business initiatives and corporate structuring.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities for tax operations.
- Monitor changes in global tax legislation and their impacts.
- Prepare tax-related materials for management and board reporting.
- Assist with special projects related to IPO readiness and due diligence.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or multinational corporate tax.
- CPA or equivalent certification required; MST or JD/LL.M. preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws.
- Understanding of ASC 740, tax accounting, and financial disclosures.
- Experience supporting pre-IPO or public-company tax operations preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining tax concepts to non-experts.
- Experience with tax provision and compliance systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
