BoostDraft is a software engineering company that develops IDE for documents. It was founded by MIT and Stanford grad students, developing an assisted document editor for documents. It is a new document editor that employs error checking, reference checking and auto-completion using both rule-based approach and NLP, like what coding editors/IDE (e.g. VSCode, Pycharm) do.

We are currently focusing on Lawyers who draft relatively standardized but long documents, such as contracts. With only four years after our product launch, we already have more than 10,000 active paid users. We have several long-term, large-scale contracts with famed enterprises and law firms. As a result, we achieved significant success, including profitability and exponential growth, all without relying on external funding for nearly four years.

We build software for the legal industry, a specialized domain that sits at the edge of rapidly evolving technology. We believe strong products come from teams with diverse backgrounds, not only from legal or technical expertise.
We are looking for individuals who are great communicators, comfortable working in both Japanese and English, and can champion collaboration across different functions. Curiosity, learning speed, and intellectual agility matter more to us than a specific academic background. We value people who are energetic, open-minded, and motivated to explore unfamiliar problem spaces.
You will add quality to our product roadmap.
Work closely with Product Managers and Customer Success to deepen understanding of our customers. This includes clarifying ambiguous feedback, conducting regular customer interviews, and helping product teams stay accountable to maintaining strong NPS.
You will add quality to our onboarding experience.
Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify blockers and friction in product demos and onboarding. You will focus on finding the most efficient and cost-effective ways to resolve these issues by aligning internal and external resources.
You will add delight to our user experience
Collaborate with Product Designers to uncover local usage patterns and established habits. You will apply these insights in early testing so that design specifications entering development are closely tailored to our customers.
Visa and Relocation
Our teams are working fully remotely, and we are expanding our global presence. While our headquarters are currently in Japan, relocation to Japan is not mandatory. If you wish to relocate, we are happy to help you obtain a visa.
