About the Role:
The Contracts Manager, Legal will be primarily responsible for negotiating and drafting cybersecurity agreements and other business contracts. Resolving matters quickly in a fast-paced environment is critical to this role. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, advising management on contractual terms and conditions, reviewing and responding to RFPs and other solicitation documents and guiding colleagues and management through the various stages of the contract process. In addition to contracts, commensurate with experience and progression, there may be opportunities for the Contracts Manager to assist on a variety of other legal matters as they arise. The candidate will be expected to align working hours to UK (GMT) time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), End User License Agreements (EULAs), Software-as-a-Service Agreements (SaaS), Vendor Reseller and Partner Alliance Agreements, Services Subcontracts, and Non-disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Work as part of a cross-functional team with Sales Operations, Privacy, and GRC to support the Go-To-Market function
- Conduct commercial contracts due diligence on M&A transactions
- Other Matters as they arise commensurate with experience
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: LLB degree or equivalent.
- 5-8 years’ experience, preferably in-house, drafting and negotiating IT agreements, including MSAs, EULAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs
- Demonstrated experience supporting and directly interacting with Sales and Business Development functions
- Flexible to deliver results under varying circumstances
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to efficiently manage numerous matters simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Experience working with a Contracts Management System (preferred)
- Employment, Privacy, or Corporate matters, with a focus on India (preferred)
