Our Accounting team is growing, and we are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of financial data, which is essential for driving the company’s growth. This role will focus on day-to-day operational accounting, month-end close execution, audit support, and targeted process improvements. You’ll work closely with our Director of Accounting and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
What You’ll Do
- Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, cash matching, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L flux analyses and investigate any variances
- Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting
- Support audit requests and inquiries from our external auditors
- Assist in creating and operationalizing new accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in enhancing current business processes, systems and documentation as part of internal control efforts
- Ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed
What You’ll Need
- 3-5 years of experience of private industry experience
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting
- Experience in month-end close procedures and reporting, transaction matching, journal entry creation and financial statement fluctuation analysis
- Experience working directly NetSuite and leading process improvements within NetSuite
- Experience working with a modern finance tech stack, including systems like Ramp, Zip and Numeric
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Strong problem solving, analytical and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- High level of integrity, positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and desire to collaborate with others
- Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments, without sacrificing work quality
- Proficient with MS office tools, including Excel

- The typical starting salary range for this role is:
$85,000 -- $102,600 USD
- The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed is:
$94,000 -- $114,000 USD
