Patient Care Representative (On-site Medellín)

Role Description: Are you experienced in the U.S. healthcare sector and passionate about patient care? We are seeking a bilingual Patient Care Representative to join a high-level team. You will be the critical link between patients and specialists, ensuring every step of the medical process is smooth, accurate, and compassionate.
This is not a conventional customer service role; we require someone with clinical and administrative judgment proficient in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
• Patient Lifecycle Management: Scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-up of medical appointments using EHR systems (Intergy, ECw, Epic).
• Insurance Verification: Validating coverage, benefits, and processing prior authorizations.
• Referral Coordination: Ensuring medical orders are properly processed between specialists and insurers.
• HIPAA Compliance: Rigorous and confidential handling of patient medical information.
• Assertive Communication: Resolving patient and provider inquiries with empathy and professional clarity.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Healthcare roles (Scheduling, Referral Coordinator, or Medical Assistant) for the U.S. market.
• English: C1 level (Fluent in technical and clinical conversations).
• Technical Skills: Proficient with healthcare platforms and office tools (Office 365).
• Location: Must reside in Medellín and be available to work on-site.
Offer Details:
• Salary: 3,400,000 COP monthly.
