Position Summary Family Resource Home Care is seeking Schedulers who are highly adaptable, empathetic, and able to act with urgency in a fast-paced operational environment. This role is critical in ensuring optimal caregiver coverage while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is analytical, people-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in real time.

Key Responsibilities
• Review caregiver preferred hours and availability using Point-of-Care scheduling software.
• Identify open client shifts and strategically match and fill vacancies based on client needs, attributes, and caregiver preferences.
• Analyze schedules to optimize caregiver utilization, ensuring maximum coverage and continuity of care.
• Act as a liaison and business partner between caregivers, clients, and branch staff to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all parties.
• Communicate schedule changes, incidents, or client complaints to the branch team promptly and in real time.
• Provide ongoing feedback to branch staff regarding caregiver performance, attendance, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure all documentation and communication are accurate, detailed, thorough, and completed in a timely manner.
• Handle inbound calls as needed to support the customer service team.
Skills & Qualifications
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Scheduler or in a similar role within:
-Healthcare
-Hospitals
-Hospitality
• Experience in home care or home health is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• High level of empathy combined with resilience and assertiveness required in a dynamic operation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail.
