The Systems Engineer supports and implements IT infrastructure solutions remotely for diverse client environments. This role suits professionals with broad technical expertise in systems and networking who apply technology effectively through virtual environments and remote management tools. Key technologies include cloud platforms, Windows environments, virtualization, and network components to maintain infrastructure stability and performance remotely.
Responsibilities:
• Provide remote IT support for Microsoft core business applications: Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services, Azure, SharePoint.
• Support and implement disaster recovery and automated offsite backups via cloud solutions.
• Design, implement, and support remote deployment of servers, storage, virtualization, workstations, cloud technologies, and mobile devices.
• Deliver network-level technical services including connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls (SonicWall, Fortinet), and security using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
• Implement and support secure remote access solutions such as VPN, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Terminal Services.
• Act as Virtual Systems Administrator or Remote LAN Administrator managing client environments through secure remote gateways.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues on storage, networking, operating systems, virtualization using remote diagnostic tools.
• Monitor systems and networks, install/configure applications, and maintain digital system documentation.
