Position Summary
The Sales, Drug Summer e.l.f.tern will support the Sales team across key drugstore retail partners, gaining hands-on experience in sales analysis, reporting, assortment performance, and in-store execution. This role will be immersed in projects that help drive data-informed decisions, strengthen retailer partnerships, and support channel growth. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and closely with drug channel customers, the e.l.f.tern will develop a strong foundation in account management, retail analytics, and operational excellence within the drug retail landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute weekly sales reports with clear insights and commentary
- Conduct retail sales, consumer, and category analysis, including tracking new item launches and planogram performance
- Support ROI analysis on new programs, initiatives, and distribution opportunities
- Leverage category and performance insights to inform assortment decisions in partnership with space planning
- Assist in managing in-store merchandising programs from concept through execution
- Support retailer item setup and ongoing item maintenance
- Monitor and report on competitive brand launches, programs, and retail events within the drug channel
- Provide administrative support, including sending samples, completing listing forms, and coordinating retailer requests
- Help manage retailer inquiries and visual merchandising aftercare needs
- Ensure customer requests for information are met accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to align on priorities and deliverables
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Must be available for the full internship period: June 1st - August 28th
- Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to deliver results
