We're looking for someone who deeply understands the funding industry to establish and lead the UK market segment. This means understanding how alternative lenders operate, how to navigate UK regulatory requirements, how to structure capital partnerships, and how to position ourselves competitively in the marketplace.
You'll report directly to our executive team and work closely with our US-based operations, product, and commercial teams to adapt our model for the UK market while maintaining the operational rigor that's made us successful.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Structure and negotiate partnerships with UK institutional lenders, banks, and alternative capital providers
Build relationships with credit funds and other capital sources to fund UK originations
Develop lending partner agreements that support our growth strategy while managing risk appropriately
Build relationships with UK regulatory bodies and stay ahead of regulatory changes
Establish compliance frameworks for lending, underwriting.
Build relationships with UK banking partners, payment processors, and third-party service providers
Set up operational processes that can scale from first customers to meaningful volume
Implement systems and workflows that integrate with our existing technology stack
What Sets You Apart
8+ years in the funding industry with deep knowledge of how alternative lenders, Revenue Based financing, invoice finance, or SMB lending businesses operate
Significant experience with UK lending regulations and FCA compliance—you've been through authorization processes before
Proven track record structuring and managing lending partnerships or capital relationships
Experience developing business strategy for financial products in competitive markets
Strong understanding of underwriting, credit risk, and portfolio management in the SMB or alternative lending space
Experience launching or scaling lending operations in new markets
Ability to think strategically while executing tactically—you can build a five-year plan and also handle urgent operational issues
