This role is ideal for a results-driven construction professional who thrives in managing medium to large-scale projects from planning through completion. The Construction Project Manager will oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and risks while ensuring high-quality execution and compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to drive timely project delivery, optimize operational performance, and maintain safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise, leadership skills, and critical thinking to resolve cross-functional challenges and ensure all projects meet organizational and client objectives. This is an opportunity to influence key construction initiatives, strengthen vendor relationships, and contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on operations and outcomes. Remote work flexibility is available, though travel is required to project sites as needed.
Accountabilities
- Develop comprehensive project and program plans for construction initiatives of varying complexity
- Lead project management activities, including defining schedules, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project objectives and quality standards
- Communicate project updates, technical information, and risks across all levels of the organization
- Ensure timely completion of projects on budget, meeting required quality and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve project challenges proactively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with at least 6 years focused on construction projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence team members toward achieving project goals
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD (preferred), MS Project, and other project management tools
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve cross-functional issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills in team environments
- Willingness to travel 20%–40% to project sites
