In this role, you will have a significant impact by collaborating with product development and engineering teams to enhance security measures for Diabetes care and Digital Health products. You will be responsible for evaluating product designs, conducting security assessments, and providing guidance on secure coding practices. Your expertise will play a crucial role in mitigating security vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance within a regulatory environment while participating in a full medical software development life cycle.
Accountabilities
- Design and implement software security solutions according to industry standards.
- Develop and administer procedures for vulnerability scans and static code analysis.
- Lead product security risk assessments and provide remediation guidance.
- Stay updated on secure system design practices and emerging threats.
- Assist in creating Incident and Vulnerability Management Plans.
- Participate in product security incident response teams.
- Interface with technical departments such as Penetration Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Lead technical design reviews and code inspections.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in software development and systems architecture.
- At least 5 years implementing security controls in software.
- 5 years of experience with C#/.NET development required.
- At least 3 years of experience in secure coding practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
