Accountabilities
- Support critical production applications with over 7 years of DBA experience demonstrating significant business impact.
- Utilize expertise in databases like AWS Aurora DB, DynamoDB/MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch while understanding distributed systems architecture.
- Manage DB replication, backup, and monitoring tools within production environments.
- Conduct root cause analysis using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, implementing preventive measures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Linux or other Unix-like operating systems focusing on performance optimization.
- Automate routine database tasks using Shell, SQL, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
- Provide technical guidance across teams for infrastructure decisions.
Requirements
- BS/BE degree in a related field.
- Deep understanding of scalability patterns and fault tolerance in distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills across teams.
