This role leads the acquisition engine for a fast-growing, mission-driven consumer brand, owning strategy and execution across paid media channels at scale. You will manage a significant acquisition budget while remaining deeply hands-on in performance tools, analytics, and experimentation. Operating in a high-growth, startup environment, you will drive customer acquisition efficiency, accelerate subscription growth, and continuously optimize conversion across the funnel. You will partner closely with creative, product, and leadership teams to unlock growth opportunities through data-driven decision-making. This position blends strategic leadership with executional excellence, offering the opportunity to build, coach, and scale a high-performing growth team.
Accountabilities:
- Own and optimize a large-scale paid media acquisition program across channels including paid social, search, video, influencers, podcasts, affiliates, and emerging platforms.
- Manage and deploy a $20M+ annual acquisition budget, driving sustainable growth through disciplined testing and performance optimization.
- Design and execute continuous experimentation across creative, landing pages, offers, bundles, and new channel pilots to improve conversion, CAC, and LTV.
- Remain hands-on in advertising platforms and analytics tools, actively managing campaigns and performance insights.
- Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing acquisition and growth marketing team with a player-coach mindset.
- Architect and execute A/B testing strategies across the full conversion funnel to improve efficiency and subscription growth.
- Build clear, actionable performance reporting and dashboards to align stakeholders and inform scaling decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing $20M+ in annual acquisition spend with demonstrated success lowering CAC and increasing LTV.
- Strong background as a full-stack growth marketer, equally comfortable with strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Deep expertise across Meta, paid search, influencer marketing, and podcast acquisition channels.
- Experience scaling DTC e-commerce brands, ideally within CPG or health and wellness.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and fluency in performance metrics and marketing economics.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments, including 0-to-1 and rapid scale phases.
- Hands-on leadership style with experience coaching teams while remaining directly involved in execution.
- Bonus experience scaling brands beyond $100M ARR, driving subscription models, or navigating clinical-claim-sensitive advertising environments.
