The Opportunity:
Liberty Mutual Surety is seeking a Contract Surety Underwriter in our Toronto office. In this role, you will market, underwrite, and service customers and accounts within an assigned territory. Using your excellent people skills, you will build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and customers rather than focused on transactional sales. You will also use your business and financial acumen to perform primary credit underwriting and financial/risk analysis, provide recommendations, and make decisions on new and existing accounts. This posting is for an active, current vacancy.
Target Hiring Range:
CAD $99,000 – $130,000 per year (base salary).
This range represents the expected annual base salary for this role. Final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and the needs of the role. The posted range does not include variable compensation (bonus), allowances, or benefits. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply. Offers above the published maximum may be approved with appropriate business authorization.
