A Late Night programming show is seeking a receptionist to join their production staff to provide administration support. This is a staff role with end date and is anticipated to last two years from the start date.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, distributing mail, greeting visitors
- Maintaining upkeep of Office & Kitchen: tracking inventory, ordering, and stocking supplies and responsibility for general office Petty Cash
- Facilities and Operations contact for heat/air, phone issues
- Book travel/car/hotel as requested
- Oversee Office Production Assistants
- Facilitate hiring, onboarding, educating and development of the Tonight Show Internship Program
- Supervise and oversee Internship Program of young professionals, developing a recruitment and hiring strategy to interview 60+ applicants every quarter
- Work with vendors for staff and crew breakfast, lunch, and dinner when needed
- Other ad-hoc duties as outlined by Manager
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in television or film production
- Working experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Final Draft
- Mac and PC proficient

Desired Characteristics:
- Previous Reception or assistant work experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and be agreeable to changes
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and interest in pop-culture is a plus
- Detail oriented
- Demonstrate good “people skills” to interact with co-workers and producers

- Hourly salary range: $17.50 - $20.00
- This position is paid a weekly rate based on a typical work schedule of 60 hrs/wk. Hours over 40 hrs/wk will be paid at an overtime rate. In the event that you work more than the anticipated 60 hrs/wk, you will be paid additional overtime compensation as required by law.
