You’ll be part of the global team that helps bring our enterprise-wide talent development strategy and learning and development experiences at NBCUniversal’s corporate university, the Talent Lab, to life.
This role blends project management, event planning and execution, visual/creative production, high-impact communication, and contribution to design & facilitation for in-person and virtual lab management. It’s ideal for someone who is energized by building meaningful experiences, working across global teams, and shaping the culture of the company.
At the Core of this role, you will:
- Support multiple global Talent Lab development experiences including project planning, managing timelines, and communicating with our talent.
- Produce, organize, and facilitate virtual and in-person learning labs, partnering with others to create seamless, high-quality experiences
- Create core, common and critical learning content, tools, videos and guides that can be scaled across the organization.
Here’s what that will look like for you…
- Help to deliver on our Talent Lab experiences:
- Ensure the quality of the learning experience for all our talent, from logistics to learning materials to meals and other networking opportunities
- Use a variety of methods (face-to-face, virtual classrooms, blended learning, mobile learning, etc.) to develop and train employees at all levels of the organization
- Partner on designing scalable solutions for the organization:
- Curate and design best-in-practice tools and guides to stand alone and accompany labs
- Leverage different media and design elements to create memorable learning content
- Coordinate the work team for various projects:
- Help manage team progress across multiple projects and deliverables, ensuring all components come together smoothly to support a high quality learning experience.
- Coordinate across stakeholders—including facilitators, internal partners, and external vendors—partner to gather inputs, align on details, and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
- Monitor progress and proactively identify issues, making adjustments and escalating when needed to keep experiences on track in both virtual and in person environments.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by capturing participant feedback, tracking themes, and recommending enhancements to strengthen future learning experiences.
- Develop your content expertise:
- Incorporate an inclusive design and facilitation approach that reflects NBCUniversal’s commitment to a culture of respect and integrity
- Stay current on company and industry news to inform content and design
- Approach work with a learning orientation, showing curiosity and adaptability
Every week will be different, and you’ll play an important role developing our talent, which is at the heart of our success as a creative company.
What You’ll Have (Basic Requirements)
We’re a lean team that moves quickly, so to jump on in, we’ll expect that you have:
- 3+ years of experience with L&OD design and facilitation
- Experience project managing complex learning experiences, regularly balancing multiple projects in various stages of design and delivery
- Experience designing for in-person and virtual learning as well as video-based or online learning and have experience in multiple delivery modes
- Experience as a facilitator in virtual and in-person environments
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 20% of the time
Bonus Points (Desired Characteristics)
You’ve put in more time developing yourself than the bare minimum and have developed further expertise in the talent, strategy, and design space, which may include:
- Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, or an MBA
- Experience with graphic design and publishing tools like Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Articulate Rise, SharePoint, Campaign Monitor
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
