The Senior Engineering Project Manager is responsible for providing the leadership and direction to effectively deliver engineering projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience using both agile and standard project methodologies
- Endpoint management platform (device and applications management systems, virtual desktop technology, etc) knowledge and experience
- Production technology (fiber infrastructure, IPTV) knowledge and experience
- Manage and deliver projects and small programs comprised of cross-matrixed teams; coordinate activities within the project/program team
- Detailed knowledge and proven experience with project management knowledge areas: integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder
- Analyze and provide regular status reports that are objective and reflect the true state of progress
- Ensure that projects are executed within specified timeframes and budget in accordance with quality and benefit targets using defined controls and processes
- Collaborate with teams to identify, log, track and resolve principles of professional project management such as Risk, Issue, Dependency, Decision and Change Management, Resource and Capacity Management and leverage these to improve control and visibility
- Manage escalations either within the team or to sponsors and executives when needing steer
- Manage the complete lifecycle and facilitate the team to transition from phase to phase
- Lead the communication and dissemination of information between all working teams
- Manage meetings and check-ins with teams and leadership, defining and mitigating any issues.
- Adhere to PMO governance (i.e., project charter, change management, etc.)
- Develop and foster relationships with portfolio leaders, project managers, and external partners
- Facilitate weekly project reviews, including ownership of scheduling, presentations, and capturing meeting notes and action items
- Develop project closeout reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI, Smartsheets
- Appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization, including managing through cross-business area or business unit prioritization discussions
- Ability to synthesize and simplify complex concepts/requirements to the team and stakeholders and tie back to business objectives
- A true collaborator and team player who can encourage and promote one team across groups to meet common goals and add value
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Solid documentation skills related to business analysis and requirements gathering
- Adaptable with history of leading effectively under pressure and through significant change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000
