NBCUniversal is looking for a Transportation Scheduler to join the Studio Services team in Atlanta, Georgia! In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling all vehicle rental transactions. You will also be responsible for processing all accounts payable and accounts receivable.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the NBCUniversal Transportation processes including dispatch, golf cart management, fleet management, repairs and maintenance, and garage inventory management.
- Work closely with the Manager, Transportation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations are being met.
- Receive and process customer vehicle reservations using studio’s fleet management and financial systems, including creating Deals and Orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required information.
- Review and process invoicing, prepare documentation, request and track purchase orders from creation to payment, ensuring all information is accurate prior to manager approval.
- Assist customers with billing questions independently and collaborate with manager as needed.
- Schedule drivers.
- Check vehicles in and out using established procedures and ensure accurate documentation of usage, condition, and assignment.
- Maintain ongoing communication with internal business units to ensure operational needs, scheduling requirements, and priories are clearly understood and coordinated.
- Work with staff (mechanics and Assembly Studios support drivers) to monitor vehicle and golf cart maintenance and prepare necessary documentation related to loss, damages, or service issues.
- Support the documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to scheduling, coordination, and system workflows to ensure consistency and continuity.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and bring recommendations forward for discussion and approval prior to implementation.
- Produce routine operational reports (e.g., weekly status, activity summaries, utilization tracking) to support visibility and planning.

What You Must Have:
- 5+ years of fleet/transportation experience in the private or public sector.
- 2+ years’ experience in compliance regulations.
- 3+ years of computer experience including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

- 2+ years exhibiting strong communication and relationship management skills with all levels and types of production and fleet roles.
- Experience working in the entertainment industry.
- Experience cultivating relationships with corporate and finance executives, production executives, Unit Production Managers, Transportation Coordinators and Transportation Captains.
- Knowledge of the complete transportation fleet rental process.
- Ability to work in a team environment while balancing the needs of different business units with competing priorities.
- Helpful and positive demeanor to strengthen relationships with different business units such as studio representatives.
- Consistently exhibit a quest for excellence, striving to constantly improve and develop more efficient systems that produce an improved level of service.
- Geographic knowledge of the Atlanta area.

- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
