Having built an 8-figure flagship brand with them, they are now expanding into soccer and pickleball. Their goal is to help 1 million families rediscover the joy of physical play by 2030.
We need a Head of UGC Program to build the attention engine that drives this movement!
We are not looking for someone to manage traditional agencies or average creators. We are inspired by the high-velocity UGC programmes of elite SaaS brands that generate hundreds of millions of views monthly. Your goal is to reverse-engineer that success for our physical products. You will build an in-house community of creators who live, breathe, and sleep their mission. You will turn our products into a digital phenomenon through a factory of high-quality, high-performance content.
Your role
- Sourcing the Vanguard
You will ignore the standard agencies and generic Discord servers. You will hunt for stellar talent through personal networks, micro-influencer discovery, and cold outreach. You are looking for high-agency individuals, primarily undergraduate students or creators with the time and passion to become top-tier advocates for our products. - Defining and Protecting Taste
You must have an instinctive sense of what makes a video go viral. You will be the gatekeeper for lighting, audio, hooks, and storylines. You will know within ten seconds whether a creator has the potential to move the needle. You will provide the mentorship and coaching most creators lack to ensure every video meets our high-standards of taste. - Managing the Strategist and Executor Loop
You will segment our creator community into two groups. You will find the strategists who can innovate, test new concepts, and find the magic that breaks the algorithm. You will then deploy the executors to replicate those winning, timeless scripts at scale. You are building amachine where 10 strategists provide the foundation for 60 executors to dominate the feed. - Building Culture over Transactions
This is not a transactional role. You are building a community of people who are addicted to pushing our products to the world. You will foster a culture where creators feel like part of the team, not just a line item on a spreadsheet. - Driving Viral Results
You are responsible for the numbers. You will own the goal of generating millions of views at an incredibly low cost per mille. You understand that the algorithm is half science and half magic, and you will stay obsessed with the data until we find the concepts that yield incredible results.
Requirements
- You are a high-agency individual who has likely made content yourself.
- You have impeccable taste and understand the nuances of why people buy and why they share.
- You have experience managing people at scale and can navigate the complexity of a rapidly growing company.
- You worked with DTC and eCommerce brands/agencies before!
- You are excited to apply your experience in a lean environment where your work has a direct impact on the brand's global expansion.
- You believe in our mission to get kids off screens and back into the game through fun, competitive play.
- Your level of English is around C1-C2
