Rev is seeking a pragmatic, execution-oriented Vice President of Product to lead our Product organization and partner closely with our CEO/Founder, VP of Engineering, and C-Team to turn vision into reality.
This is not a strategy-from-the-ivory-tower role. Our CEO/Founder brings strong product instincts, conviction, and clarity around where Rev is going. The VP of Product’s mandate is to translate that vision into focus, alignment, and consistent execution across Product and Design—especially amid ambiguity, competing priorities, and rapid change. In this role, you will:
Lead a growing Product org (currently 3 Product Managers and a Senior Director of Design with 3 Designers), bringing structure, accountability, and calm to complexity.
Help teams move fast without thrash, ensure we’re learning from customers and data, and keep Product, Engineering, and Design aligned around what we’re building—and why.
This role is ideal for a former Product Manager who loves getting their hands dirty, enjoys working closely with customers, and thrives in startup environments where clarity must be created—not handed down.
Product Execution & Alignment
Own final prioritization, sequencing, and execution decisions for Product and Design, in close partnership with Engineering and company leadership
Translate CEO vision, priorities, and high-energy direction into clear roadmaps, milestones, and decisions
Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, and Design amid ambiguity and competing inputs
Force clarity, consensus, and decision-making when priorities conflict
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and Design leadership
Bring structure and accountability to teams with strong individual talent
Create an environment of trust, focus, and high standards
Balance flexibility with conviction—knowing when to adapt and when to hold the line
Customer & Market Engagement
Stay close to customers through direct conversations, feedback loops, and post-launch learning
Ensure product decisions are grounded in real customer pain—not just internal intuition
Partner with GTM and Legal teams to understand evolving customer needs
Operational Rigor
Bring discipline to planning, execution, and post-launch learning
Use data and analytics to assess what’s working, what isn’t, and why
Introduce lightweight program management where helpful to keep initiatives moving
Ensure launches are paired with clear success metrics and learning plans
Cross-Functional Partnership
Act as the primary point of accountability for product execution across the company
Partner closely with the VP of Engineering on delivery, sequencing, and tradeoffs
Work with the C-Team to ensure product execution supports company goals
Serve as a steady, trusted operator who can move with grace under pressure
8+ years of experience in Product Management, including leadership roles
Prior hands-on experience as a Product Manager (essential)
Proven ability to execute in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
Strong track record of translating executive vision into shipped product
Experience working closely with Engineering and Design teams
Customer-facing by nature—comfortable and energized by direct customer conversations
Data-informed and detail-oriented, especially in post-launch learning
Familiarity with AI-powered products and software-driven workflows
Calm, grounded leadership style with strong judgment and integrity
Nice to have
Experience in legal tech, AI, or complex B2B SaaS products
Exposure to program management or operational product leadership
Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
