Role Overview
The Growth Marketing Lead will own and scale paid acquisition for iOS and Android mobile apps, with a strong focus on post-iOS14 attribution, SKAN, and mobile measurement partners (MMPs). This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who has personally managed large-scale mobile app budgets and attribution tooling in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Acquisition & Campaign Management
Own and manage mobile app install and in-app event campaigns across Meta Ads, Google App Campaigns, and Apple Search Ads.
Manage 6-figure+ monthly budgets on Meta specifically for mobile apps.
Plan, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns focused on app installs, in-app actions, and revenue growth. Optimize toward CPI, D7/D30 retention, LTV, ROAS, not just installs.
Navigate iOS ATT limitations and SKAN reporting constraints.
Monitor performance daily and adjust budgets, targeting, and bids to achieve KPIs
Creative & Team Management
Manage and collaborate with the design team responsible for ad creatives.
Lead mobile-first creative testing frameworks (UGC, short-form video, hooks, app store visuals).
Provide clear creative direction, testing frameworks, and feedback to improve performance.
Understand platform-specific creative fatigue and iteration cycles for app ads.
Align creative testing with in-app funnel insights, not just CTR.
Ensure creatives align with performance goals, brand standards, and platform best practices
Mobile Attribution & Measurement
Own attribution setup and ongoing optimization using MMPs such as Adjust or AppsFlyer
Analyze and interpret SKAN postbacks, conversion values, and modeled attribution
Make confident decisions despite incomplete or delayed attribution data
Partner with engineering/product to ensure accurate event tracking and data integrity
Affiliate & Channel Expansion
Manage and grow affiliate marketing channels
Evaluate affiliate performance and optimize partnerships for ROI and scalability
Ensure accurate attribution, tracking, and reporting across channels
Reporting & Optimization
Track and report on key performance metrics, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, CPI, and conversion rates
Use performance data to inform strategy, creative testing, and channel allocation
Continuously improve marketing efficiency through experimentation and iteration
Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth marketing, with at least 3 years focused on mobile app marketing.
Proven experience managing Meta App and Web campaigns, Google App Campaigns, and Apple Search Ads.
Hands-on experience with Adjust or AppsFlyer.
Experience marketing mobile apps, with consumer or subscription-based products preferred.
Deep familiarity with iOS attribution challenges (ATT, SKAN).
Strong experience managing paid ad budgets and scaling campaigns.
Proven experience managing $100k+/month Meta budgets for mobile apps
Experience leading or managing creative or design teams
Skills
Ability to execute rigorous creative testing and optimization frameworks
Strong analytical mindset with hands-on reporting experience
Familiarity with attribution tools and mobile analytics platforms
Ability to make confident, data-driven decisions in performance-focused environments
